About us
We are Joona and Alla, a local couple who live in Rovaniemi and have spent years working in Lapland tourism, in hotels and marketing. Nine Pines is our own apartment, furnished the way we would want a family home to be on a winter trip: proper beds for everyone, a kitchen you can really cook in, a dryer for the snowsuits and free parking at the door.
The photographs on the walls are Joona’s: real northern lights, reindeer and fells from around here. Between trips we write about travel and food at Hungrytravelfamily, so helping families travel well is simply what we do.
